Please nominate them for a 2021 MLK Peace Award! (Nominations due October 30.) 密歇根州立大学丹佛 students, 教员/员工, and 丹佛 community members are eligible for nomination, and awards are granted based on the following criteria: community activism, 宣传, and depth of involvement.
30年来, the campus community has come together in January to celebrate the life, 遗产, 和博士的理想. Martin Luther King, Jr. at our annual Peace Breakfast. The highlight of the gathering is an awards ceremony that acknowledges and celebrates individuals who keep Dr. King’s spirit and dream alive through their contributions to peace, 正义, 多样性, 平等, 社会变革.
Nomination Guidelines
In as many words as necessary, please describe the nominee’s commitment to promoting peace, 正义, and compassion for all people through community involvement. The more detail you provide, the more we can understand how extraordinary the nominee is. In your own words, please address at least one of the three themes of the award Community Activism, Advocacy, and Equity & 包容. Your nomination must explain their involvement and what impact their work has had.
