When building or assessing web content, it can be easier to check accessibility by examining the code used to build the webpage. This process for assessing web content does require an intermediate skill level for web browser navigation as well as some basic/intermediate understanding of HTML. If you are not comfortable with these, consider using one of the many assessment tools.

Steps to Use Browser 检查窗口 to Evaluate Web 可访问性

1. To assess online content in any browser, you will need to open the 检查窗口 of web page. Make sure you are on the specific page you want to inspect.
   1. For Windows: Press ‘F12’ or “Control+Shift+C)
   2. Mac:“Command+Option+C”
   3. Note: some browsers like Safari require you to add the developer tools in order to access the inspect window.
