关于写作中心

The culture of the 写作中心 builds on a few key values:

  • 信仰 that everyone who works here truly believes in the missions of 密歇根州立大学丹佛 and the 密歇根州立大学丹佛 写作中心.
  • 信任 that everyone here has each other’s back. That means if you need help in a session, anyone else working will jump in to help. If you feel like you mishandled a situation, we will help you brainstorm ways to handle that kind of situation differently next time without judgment. If you don’t know how to do something, we’ll help you figure it out.
  • 尊重 for different perspectives, backgrounds, values, and ways of doing things. There is always a multitude of “right” ways to get something done. If you have an idea for how to improve something here, we want to hear about it.
  • 成长型思维, which believes that anyone can grow and that skills and aptitudes are not fixed. We demonstrate a growth mindset by normalizing effort, understanding failure as a sign of growth, 反思过程.

We value self-care and mental health. We believe in mental health days as well as sick days!

最后, we strongly believe that everyone here helps to build the culture with every action they take (or don’t take) and with everything they say (or don’t say). 每一个人. 构建. 文化.
